Victoria Bjerksund Almgren – ALTO

The newest member of the Oslo Gospel Choir (OGC), Victoria Bjerksund Almgren has been singing since the age of four, and was active in choirs over the next ten years. She then went on to do solo projects and has been the leader of her church’s youth worship ministry, while also leading worship there.

Victoria hails from the city of Tønsberg south of Oslo (where she and her husband still reside); she has worked with many skilled musicians both there and in Oslo. She joined with them to lead worship at large Christian youth festivals around Norway, and has arranged Christmas concerts performed to full houses for the last two years. ”I´ve been very humbled by the support and the encouragement that I`ve recieved from the local churches in my area, as well as the rest of Norway,” she says. ”I am honoured to have been asked to join the Oslo Gospel Choir, and really appreciate the opportunity to share the gospel through my singing on a larger scale.”
