The Oslo Gospel Choir have during the last years visited Switzerland several times. The warm velcome and enthusiasm from the audience is an inspiration for us.

February 4th we recorded a DVD in Montreux, all arranged by PowerConzerte. The DVD will be released in November 06.

We proudly present the new praise and worship CD / DVD ”We Lift Our Hands” for our audience in Europe. It is all recorded in Gouda May 21. in The Netherlands. You will find songs as "Surrender All", "Here I Am To Worship", "Open The Eyes of My Heart" and new songs by Tore W. Aas. None of these songs has been recorded by the choir before.

OGC recording DVD from concert in Holland

Finally the Oslo Gospel Choir will make one of their concerts available on DVD.

May 21st a "Praise & Worship" -concert in Gouda in Holland will also be available on DVD.

We welcome all our friends from Germany, Switzerland and Holland to join us at this event.

May 20th the choir will do a concert in Barneveld, Holland

Christmas CD and Christmas tour 2002

In April 2002 the Oslo Gospel Choir started the recording of a new CD with Princess Märtha Louise and Sigvart Dagsland.

The first tracks on the new CD will be finished in April. Princess Märtha Louise will read lyrics and sing with the Oslo Gospel Choir. Sigvart Dagsland will be the lead singer on several of the songs on the new CD.

Christmas tour
In November and December the artists will hold a number of Christmas concerts in Norway.

Visiting Washington with Sissel Kyrkjebø

The Kennedy Center and the Embassy of Norway present the fourth annual Norwegian Visions Concert.

Sissel, one of Norway's most popular vocalists, appears with her own eight-piece band togeter with the Oslo Gospel Choir

New CD, "Live in Chicago"

June 8th Oslo Gospel Choir recorded a new album live in Chicago. The album are now available on the market in Norway!

After one week of rehearsals with friends from Chicago, the choir recorded its live concert in Sweet Holy Spirit Full Gospel Baptist Church. Our good friend Calvin Bridges, singers from "The Chicago Praise Ensemble" and "Sweet Holy Spirit Combined Choirs" contributed in the concert, and special guests were Deloice Barratt from "Barratt Sisters" and "The Queen of Gospel", Albertina Walker.
During the stay in Chicago we visited churches that have played a leading role in the history of gospel music, and it was a great inspiration for us to see these places, meet with the people and learn about the pioneers of gospel!

"Stilla Natt", 75.000 sold in Norway

The christmas CD "Stilla Natt", one of the bestselling albums in Norway in 2000.

OGC live in Germany & Switzerland
October 27th: Lüdenscheid in Germany
A great audience of 1200 people gave the choir a warm welcome. They showed that gospel music reaches the heart of the Germans and gives us inspiration for more touring in Germany.

October 28th: Biel / Bienne in Switzerland
For the third time OGC visited Biel. 1700 enthusiastic people showed their appriciation for gospel music.

October 29th: Weinfelden in Switzerland
1500 people showed their love for gospel music, and partisipated in a great way through the consert.

Singing with Nana Mouskoury

A while ago the famous greek singer (sold more than 200 million ex) heard a CD with Oslo Gospel Choir and Stig Rossen from Denmark. She decided to ask for participation on her next CD, and now it is a reality.

The CD is called, "A Place in My Heart" which contains a duet with Stig Rossen entitled "To Make You Feel My Love". The CD will be released on Nov. 8th in Denmark.
