Jan Kristian Røvik – Bass

Jan Kristian joined the Oslo Gospel Choir in 1995, and it has become a big part of his life. This busy family man lives in the city of Skien, Norway, and puts his business administration education to work at a hospital and resource centre that provides treatment for those suffering from alcohol and drug-related problems.

He takes advantages of Norway’s beautiful landscape by cycling in the summer and speed skating in the winter. But what feeds his soul is time spent with family, friends and – of course – performing with the OGC. As Jan Kristian puts it, “I’m really thankful for my years in the choir. I feel very blessed for being able to travel together with wonderful friends and artists, singing the gospel to people throughout the world.”
